An Tran is a consumer psychologist who studies people’s judgments, decisions, and behaviors, with the aim of improving consumer welfare. Her expertise lies at the intersection of psychology, marketing, and finance, and often applies to people’s consumption, financial, and planning decisions. An received her Ph.D. in marketing from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and is currently at the University of La Verne. Her consulting focuses on consumer insights, digital marketing strategy and marketing research. Her research has been published in top-tier academic journals and featured in the Wall Street Journal.
